Get a resonator added just after the cat. Make sure the glasspack style muffler is perforated and not grooved or louvred as these restrict flow. Make sure its the same inside diameter as the rest of the exhaust and if the tips are resonated or muffled in some way, should sound pretty good and not loud. Emmissions wise, make sure the cat is good or somewhat new, you have both o2 sensors working and you should be od. Cant think of anything else. Let me know if this helps. Misnblu

Would I have to fix the exchaust in order to sell the car? Also If I was selling it out of state would it need to be fixed and reinspected (by me before I sell it)? [glow=Green,2,300]Why can't money grow on trees?[/glow]

Get a resonator added just after the cat. How much does it cost any idea's ?? How much for installation ? CAT is running in good condition just passed emmissions but exchaust failed for noise violation in ct. Inspections! Thanks for the help this stuff is confusing??

the longest cherry bomb you can fit after the cat will help alot. Whats your noise limit there?
Cherry bomb style mufflers are cheap. Installs will vary in price but shouldnt be very much. It should be a cut to the pipe and a few clamps or welds.. under an hr time if they aint bozo mechanics... ;D

Agreed, shouldnt cost you more than 50 - 75 bucks, tops, including the glasspack. ;D That should more than enough, bring down the tone of the exhaust. Good luck. [glow=blue,2,300]Misnblu[/glow]
